leadership  is not the act of transferring accountability and demanding results. true leaders will equip those being led with the tools they need to succeed, not because they have  been requested but because they have been deemed necessary

making someone else accountable for your shortcomings does not mean you are devoid of limitations and certainly does not make you an effective leader.
